This gives information on walking courses in Hinohara Village, Okutama Town, and the Islands.
Notably, many of the courses lead visitors to nature-filled landscapes and famous places, and all of them are very attractive.

The Hossawa Falls walking path is paved with woodchips, making it easier to walk. Some parts of the walking path are slippery, so please visit in sports shoes that you are used to wearing.

The Okutama Mukashi Michi is a route formerly known as Kyu-Ome-kaido Avenue that runs from Hikawa to Ogouchi.
As the distance from Oku-Tama Station to Lake Okutama is about 10 km, the course is divided into two parts.
Some parts have steep slopes or are not paved, so visit in appropriate clothing.

The Sunset Palm Line along the seashore allows visitors to walk while enjoying views of Mount Fuji on fine days.
Depending on the timing of your walk, you may encounter spectacular sunset views as you walk along the return route.
It is a mostly flat route lined with camellias and other trees, but because the walkway is not separated from the road in some parts, beware of cars when you walk.

The island itself is small, with a circumference of about 8 kilometers. Even walking right around it, an adult could complete the trip in two to two-and-a-half hours.
About 80% of the island is covered in evergreen wild camellia, and you can see the various plants and wild birds that live in nature.
You can see fragrant lilies in early summer and camellias unique to Toshima in winter.
The course has many slope sections and some parts that are not surfaced, so visit in comfortable clothing and sports shoes.

This trekking course looks over Mamashita Beach and Kurone Port. In the distance, you can see Izu Peninsula, and the Ishiyama Observation Deck at the end of the course gives views of islands to the south.
As there are dead-ends and cliffs, do not enter any of the side routes other than the designated route.
The route does not pass any toilets, so we recommend going there before walking.

You can enjoy the magnificent beauty of nature, including the dynamic scenery created by the volcano and the clear blue sea.
Miyakejima Island still has so many legends and myths that it is known as the "Island of History", and you can wander around many historical spots.
Some courses have many ups and downs, so take smaller steps to reduce the burden on your knees on slopes.
The course has some parts that are not surfaced or are slippery, so be careful when you walk.

Looking at Mikura’s forests from the municipal road gives glimpses of different types of flora and fauna.
The course has many steep slopes and has not been improved with walkways. You might want to use the toilet before going and take drinking water with you.

You walk in a park located in the center of the island where the island’s nature is condensed. You may even encounter a cute muntjac along the way. Turn your senses to the voices of the wild birds and the scents of nature.
The path does not have any large rises, so you can walk in casual clothing. The park has many small paths that are not shown on maps and are not surfaced. If you like taking side routes, we recommend that you wear sports shoes and walk.

This course has continuing steep and uphill slopes, so don’t forget to hydrate properly on hot days.
Mossy sections will be slippery, so wear shoes with sturdy soles and walk slowly after rain.

This course allows you to feel close to nature and spend time relaxing while watching the beautiful sunset.
