Mucor
Called as kekabi (hairy mold), it forms grayish white, fluffy colonies. It grows quickly, forming large colonies on foods in a short period. It is widely distributed in soil, fruits, vegetables, starch, septic matters, etc., and often appears on foods, fresh vegetables and fruits stored for long periods at low temperatures.
