In the Higashimurayama City Area Welfare Plan formulated in FY2017, Higashimurayama City set out “Healthy Higashimurayama 21” as its municipal health improvement plan and listed “increasing the number of people doing more physical activity in everyday life” as its target for physical activity and exercise.
As specific efforts towards reaching this target, we have created a walking map and holding exercise seminars, etc. to encourage residents to make walking a habit.
